Halo 1, 2, 3 and 4 Being Re-Mastered For Xbox One

Microsoft, the creators behind all three Xbox’s announced today that Halo 1, 2, 3 and 4 are now being re-mastered for the Xbox One. This doesn’t surprise anyone as Halo 5 was just announced, releasing the three previous games in the series would allow for people who haven’t experience Halo to catch up on what’s going on without having to purchase any of the old game or consoles.

The Xbox One isn’t being advertised as a video game console but instead as a home entertainment console. People who have never purchased a console in their life are now purchasing the Xbox One due to the mass amount of things that the system can do. Those people are more than likely going to purchase a video game for the first time and Microsoft wants those video games to be the re-mastered Halo games and Halo 5. The reason for this is because Halo is Microsoft’s most popular franchise, making it more popular is only a good thing for Microsoft.

The re-mastered Halo 1, 2, 3 and 4 Games are being called “The Master Chief Halo Collection”. There is no word as to when the game will be released, we suspect that will gain more insight as to the future of these re-mastered Halo games at E3 2014. Microsoft has yet to make any comments regarding the game, instead only announcing the release of this game after a series of rumors arose at IGN regarding four re-mastered Halo Games.
