Daniel Negreanu, a world renowned World Series Poker player and member of Team PokerStars announced he is issuing a challenge for all poker players to help him raise $100,000 for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital helps those children who are suffering from all types of cancer and operates as a non-profit hospital.
Daniel Negreanu is hoping his fellow poker buddies will all chip in to help meet and exceed his goal of $100,000. Daniel, for his part, will match all donations up to $50,000. This is a great challenge to see coming from such a high profile player and to date more than $170,000 has been raised with more donations rolling in.
Those people who make a single donation of $2500 or more will be entered into a draw that will see four lucky people spend an evening with Daniel at his private home for a dinner, meet and greet and some tips on the game they love. It is Daniel’s hope that a few other pro’s will join in on the evening and share in the positive energy that will come from such an event.
